Flute Teacher

Jen Lehman

Jen Lehman holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from the College of Saint Rose and works as a music educator and professional flutist.

In addition to teaching flute, she performs with a variety of ensembles throughout Massachusetts, including the Winchendon Winds, Willow Flute Ensemble, Metropolitan Flute Orchestra, Harmony Transverse, and the New England Film Orchestra.

Jen’s experience with the flute extends beyond performing and teaching. She previously worked as a flute finisher at Powell Flutes, where she gained specialized knowledge of the craftsmanship and construction of professional flutes. She also established her own flute repair business, JM Lehman Flute Repair, based in Ayer, Massachusetts, where she repairs C, alto, and bass flutes.

Her work as a teacher, performer, and flute technician gives Jen a well-rounded perspective on the instrument, and she enjoys helping students develop their skills while gaining a deeper appreciation for the flute.
